In town, Ciara had escaped the watchful eye of her retainer for a time, instead she was leaving the smithy, a newly sharpened Iron Sword at her waist.

Walter, having left the tavern, is now wandering around the streets of the city, taking in the sights and observing all he can. As he walks, he notices Ciara, who he recognizes as one of the members of his company. He goes to her to greet her.
"Hello there. You are a member of Lord Dimitri's company, correct?"

A constant hand on her sword sheathe, Ciara turns and puts on a smile once hearing what it was regarding, "That would be correct. I've seen you around Lord Dmitri so it would be the same in your case?"

"Yes. I am Walter, the tactician of our company." He bows. "And you are?"

She curtsies, "A pleasure to meet you then, Walter. I am Ciara."

"So, I just finished chatting with three other members of our group over lunch. As our tactician, I'm trying to meet everyone in our company so that I'll have a better idea of what our group can do. So if you would be so kind, perhaps you could tell me about yourself a bit? Any skills or combat proficiencies and such?"

"I see...I will be placing my life in the hands of your strategies, after all." She glanced around, "We shouldn't dicuss this, standing in the middle of the street then. A nearby bench sound like a good idea to you?"
"I can speak for myself and my retainer, after all."

They sit down at a nearby bench.
"So, you have a retainer?"

"Correct, he is in Prince Dmitri's company with us. Corvin is a spear fighter whose defense are on par with a Nohrian or Chevian Knight."

"I don't believe there is much else..." She pondered for a moment, "Well, actually, about Corvin. His defenses are top notch and he excels at weakening the enemies he confronts, their defenses specifically."

"Ah, now that sounds like he'll be quite useful!" Walter gets up from the bench. "Thank you for speaking with me. I look forward to us working together on the battlefield. And I assure you, your life is in good hands." Walter bows, then starts walking away.

This is so much different from everything in Nohr! And the food...! It's soooooooooo tempting! I should focus though. If this Prince Dmevskoy is recruiting allies, I need to find out where and get in while the getting's good.
She keeps walking through, looking for someone who knows what they're doing in this city.

Walter, now back to wandering through town, spies Seida. Having never met a wolfskin before, he is rather intrigued. He goes to talk to her.
"Hello there! You're a wolfskin, it seems. What are you doing around these parts?"

"Uh...?" Seida turns around, making sure she's being addressed, though the mention of 'wolfskin' removes most of the ambiguity. And the fact that he would open a conversation with that, gives Seida a good idea of where the conversation's probably going. She answers briskly, "I'm walking through a city, of course. Is that a problem?"

"It's not a problem. I'm just intrigued, is all. From what I've read, most wolfskin live far from here near Mt. Garrou."

"Well, yeah. You're right, there. But you're not saying it right. It's not Garrou, it's Garou." She glances off to the side, reaffirming her spatial awareness just in case something goes wrong.
"To answer your question, maybe you can answer mine - I'd heard there was a princeling, or something, seeking allies ready for battle, here in Oss. Would you know anything about that?"

"Yes, you are correct. Lord Dimitri is assembling a small company to head out to investigate some strange occurences near the border. I am his tactician, Walter."

Seida nods. Guess I got lucky! "Yeah, that's what I'm here for. Thought I might put my skills to use, and I've spent too much time in Nohr anyway. Think you could get me in touch with him, Walter?"

Walter starts walking through town, with Seida following him.

Walter stops as they arrive at a large castle. Walter walks inside and looks around.

Seida takes a seat, grateful for the opportunity to get off her feet. "So, if you aren't from Ossolkof, what brought you here?"

Walter sits down next to her. "Well, I'm simply journeying on a quest for knowledge. I've already been to three of the tribes, as well as the ninja republics, cheve, and nestra. This is mainly another stop on my way. I hope to learn even more new things here in Ossolkef."

"Huh. That's kinda what I'm going around for, as well." She looks down, swinging her feet absently.
"My tribe had me and a few others leave our lands years ago, on a journey to learn what we could about other peoples. Their culture, society, technology... whatever might be useful in our own futures."
"Every now and then I write them a letter or send them stuff. So they know I'm not just slacking around in Nohr."

Seida glances at Walter. "It's where I was sent. I had a friend who went to Hoshido, and another who got sent on a boat across the ocean. Haven't heard from them in ages... but I hope they're okay."

Walter looks around, with still no sign of Dimitri. He gets up.

What an interesting girl... I certainly hope Dimitri let's her in. I'd love to be able to watch a wolfskin in action!
