In a room at the White Flower Inn, Seida slowly opens her eyes from atop her bed. The sheets are disheveled and tossed about, covering only half of her, and she's chewing on a pillow. "...mrhm..."
Spitting the abused article out and wiping her mouth, she lets out a small whine. "Awh... was having a really nice dream..." Nonetheless, she accepts the state of affairs, and slowly sits up, looking for her clothes. After a moment, she remembers where she put them, and finds her vest and pants neatly folded atop a dresser. After taking the time to get dressed and grab her things, she makes her way out of her second-floor room and beholds the dining area below her.
Folding her arms over the banister, she thinks for a moment. Okay, Seida, where am I again? Was on the road to Ossolkef... met a guy, Regis, who wasn't a jerk. Met a few who were. Her tail starts wagging involuntarily. ...Successfully met Dmitri. Met Ciara. Got ice cream. Wound up here at the inn.

"...Okay, then!" Seida says, nodding as she makes her way down the stairs, stretching on the way down. She makes her way to the counter to order food, looking over the tables on the way and trying to decide which would be suitable to eat at.
...is that girl staring at me?
She orders a plate of eggs and potatoes before walking over to the other girl.

Seida opens her mouth to answer Ashley, but is immediately put off by the other woman's intrusion. "W-wha?" She stammers out, dumbfounded both by her boldness and apparent ignorance.
"Of course I have a tail!" she says, holding it protectively.

Ashley recoiled, hurt. "Hey, I was just trying to offer an explanation for the original species differentiation. You're not the only beastkin in here, you know." She lifts up her hood, revealing a fox ear to seida.

"...that explains the accent," Seida mutters, shaking her head. It takes a moment for her to register the fox ear in her periphery, but when she does, her eyes light up. She immediately turns to Ashley and leans down to meet her eye level. "Oh! Cousin! I didn't even realize!"

She turns her head to Luciel. "Maybe this isn't an issue 'across the ocean,' but here we Beastkin aren't often treated too well by humans. I suggest you watch your words around us."

If I was gonna fight someone for saying crass things, I'd rather it be because they thought I was hot than because they hated me. At least the first group is easier to fight than the group that actually wants to kill me.

"Man, that's worked out well, huh Ashley?" Seida's already long finished with her meal, and stands up to stretch.
"I should probably get going soon, make sure I've done everything I need to in town before Dmitri calls us all together... You'll have to tell me all about how it goes, later!"

Seida picks up the tone of voice, and adds, "Just think of it as a little gift you're giving to yourself, Cousin! Celebrating today's meeting!" She chuckles. "And then payday can come with Dmitri and we can give ourselves many more gifts on top."
She starts walking toward the Inn's entrance. "It was great meeting you both!"

"See ya!" Ashley waved, smiling. "Well, I guess we should discuss this later. I've got one last thing to handle this morning." She got up as well, gathering up what she'd left on the table.

Luceil waves goodbye to them. She finished her meal then headed up to her room.

She gives off another wave to the pair, and sniffs the air one last time to form a memory of the place and the people. Then, she walks out and starts exploring the town.
